Hello world. This is me.

I am a young-ish teenager. I live in an upper-middle class house in an upper-middle-class suburb in a small-ish city on an island in the Southern Hemisphere. I have two younger siblings who like yelling, a father who like science and a mother who likes little. I spend most of my time on this laptop, playing the piano or reading. I have tried and failed many times to keep a diary. Maybe if random strangers read it I’d be more inclined to keep writing.

I tend to be a patient person, quiet but explosive, not intrinsically evil but too sarcastic-slash-self-deprecating for my own good and enjoying of slightly sick humour, intolerant of poor grammar and social conduct and often impatient with capital letters, with a small thing for quirky picture books, major European cities and well kept houses. I look beautiful in mirrors and hideous in photographs.

I like socks, reading, fountain pens, ambient lighting, music, pillows, speculative fiction and trampolines. I dislike mess, cleaning, analogue clocks, contradictions, heat, pools, buckles, most religion teachers and horror films. To date.
